PhD start up meeting, progress towards poster presentation
After phd meeting with P. Tom, D. Nigel & D. Debbie, it is now clearer, what i need to do for a great phd, where, when and how.
Access to banks is one of the pivotal issues right now, as i don't have a lot of it, however my original thoughts was going through the university like in Knowledge Transfer Programs (KTP), which is still possible.
In the meantime i have devised a strategy of using what i have to get what i want (Access) i.e. to use
Existing bank accounts to reach bank managers for access to bank training.
Social contacts (Toastmasters)
Church contacts
As P. Tom suggested, since i have more access in Africa, why don't i pursue the African part of the research. While air fares will increase funding requirements, it many have to be weighed against access slow/little access in uk versus more access and potential in Africa.
What i am seeking to know now is present concepts used for training, why, what changes the banks will like, where and why?
